Steps to Obtain Hungary’s Investor Visa
To apply for their Investor Visa, investors must select one of the available investment options and obtain the Hungary Guest Investor Visa first. Valid for a limited period, the Guest Investor Visa enables investors to travel to Hungary and fulfill the investment requirement, which must be done within 93 days after their arrival.
Upon completion of this step, investors can apply for their residence permit, and obtain it within an expected period of 6-8 weeks. The permit is renewable after 10 years, subject to fulfillment of all legal requirements.
Who Can Apply?
To apply for the Investor Visa, investors must be non-EU and non-EEA citizens over the age of 18; have a legitimate source of income and possess health insurance. Dependents including a spouse, children under 18 years of age, as well as financially dependent parents can be added to the application.
Why Choose Hungary?
Situated in the heart of Europe, Hungary is perhaps one of the most developed, business friendly, and safe countries across the continent, offering a cost of living twice as low as other nations in the EU. Through its Investor Visa, not only do investors unlock visa-free travel across the Schengen Area, but a steadily growing real estate market that presents a plethora of opportunities for wealth preservation and growth.
