Popular Quebec Immigrant Investor Program Reopens

Breaking news: Quebec IIP reopening on May 29, 2017.

It has been confirmed by the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Diversité et de l’Inclusion that Quebec’s very popular Immigrant Investor Program will reopen for new investors from May 29, 2017, until February 23, 2018.

All investment requirements and application procedures will remain the same as last year, including the quota set at 1,900, with a maximum of 1,300 applicants originating from China.

Applicants must invest a minimum of CA$800,000 in a government-guaranteed investment and hold it for at least five years, and demonstrate prior business experience as well as a net worth of CA$1.6 million.
